Let's Talk About Longevity: A free educational workshop

Studies show people who live in Blue Zones® tend to live longer and experience a better quality of life than their counterparts. Tiffany Harding, a senior living expert from The Ohio Masonic Home, says the common denominators found in these regions can also be found in continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs).

The public is invited to learn more during “Let’s Talk About Longevity,” on Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2020 at 11:30 a.m., at Williams on the Lake – Lakeside East, 787 Lafayette, Medina. The free educational program is hosted by The Palmary at Western Reserve Masonic Community.

People who live in Blue Zone regions are more physically active, experience less stress, and nurture strong, positive social networks. Harding says, “Beyond the longevity-boosting benefits of living the Blue Zones’ principles, maintenance-free CCRCs offer flexibility, freedom and resources that make it easy to get the most out of living.”

During the interactive presentation, Harding will share:
      • How Blue Zone lifestyles enhance mental and physical wellness
      • The keys to living a longer, healthier life
      • Health and wellness benefits of living at a CCRC

To reserve a spot at this limited-attendance event, participants must call (330) 481-5810 or visit www.thepalmary.org. The first 20 people to RSVP will receive a copy of The New York Times bestseller “The Blue Zones: 9 Lessons for Living Longer from the People Who’ve Lived the Longest” by Dan Buettner.
